This is just more refusal by SCOTUS. IF we're gonna allow women to serve in combat roles that were previously only "a man's job," and do it "equally," then the burden of a possible draft should ALSO be mandatory. Israel makes no distinction in their mandatory 2 yr service rule. That's basically a mandatory draft. And a lot of people Jose women are placed in "door kicker" roles and excel...admirably.
If it's good enough for Israel, and we treat them as our No.1 M.E. regional ally, PLUS "Stand With Israel," then it should be perfectly fine for the U.S. to accept it, too.
The fact that we don't is just more proof that "Separate but Equal" is STILL prevalent in our American culture, and I thought that would as de med unacceptable by the Left, Right, and especially SCOTUS.
Could you (or anyone else) explain the meaning of the phrase “Jose women” here? I’ve never heard that term before. Clearly I’m getting old.
