Not all Christians are Catholic and not all Catholics are Christians. You've heard of Republicans in Name Only (RINO)? Well, there are also Christians in Name Only. Do not follow a man or a human institution. Follow God. You can participate in human institutions while following God even though they are imperfect.

Also, the Vatican’s translation is known as possibly the worst translation of the Bible, maybe only 2nd to Thomas Jefferson’s Bible with cut out passages of scripture he didn’t agree with.
