Reminds me of my Bible reading today. Numbers chapter 14. Here’s a highlight: “Then the whole community began weeping aloud, and they cried all night. Their voices rose in a great chorus of protest against Moses and Aaron. “If only we had died in Egypt, or even here in the wilderness!” they complained.”
Numbers 14:1-2 NLT
And this is after the Red Sea miracle, hearing God speak and many many visually confirming miracles. That desire for an old normal is a doozy. If you’re interestedI suggest the whole chapter, but I’ll save you the giant response. In the end God have them their wish, and let them die in the wilderness before taking their kids to the promised land.
Condolences on the family. I’m right there with you. Ready to head into the promised land?
