It's almost as if he's never been to Yellowstone, or the Grand Canyon, or Alaska, or anywhere outside of a big city before. America, in all of its places is just absolutely amazing! I live near Nashville but never go there anymore. Anywhere outside it is absolutely wonderful in comparison. They actually still have town squares where you can just sit and watch America "happen". It's a thing you just can't describe, it has to be experienced. Kids playing on the grass. Monuments reminding us who we are and where we came from. I guess Joe is not as experienced as everyone thinks. What is it, 47 years in congress and he still prefers "Not America"?
I've been to a lot of states being in the Navy. Every single one of them has wild, untamed raw nature. Also, very down to earth Americans that welcome you, no matter what, and let their graciousness just flow. Always welcomed.
I've been to 6 of the 7 continents. I always know where home is. I guess Joe doesn't. Sad, in a way. Must be the dementia...
