The existence of the not-vaccine was essential to get the economy opened up again to avoid the inevitable famines and mass starvation that would have occured if the lockdowns went on indefinitely.

Obviously anyone taking the not-vaccine is absolutely crazy, but it needed to exist to prevent inevitable mass famine.
