My ballot had issues on the initial scan, but the guy pushed a button, told me that my vote was invalid in 1 section and that I needed to acknowledge the error as EXEMPT and he scanned the ballot again. Assured me my vote was counted. ?

yes, in East Valley areas, like Chandler where I voted seemed to have pen issues that were against Election Rules. (Conservative East Valley)
