I read the article and started thinking of how some spin will continue to be applied to everything they cover. Be ready for the brainwashed to think “no big deal” about many of the things we tell them. Everyone misplaces something, and they will be ready to forgive that... Perhaps answer this with: “this affects almost 1 in 4 ballots. Aren’t votes important? Their incompetence could invalidate 25% of the vote...”. IMO asking questions could help a lot.
