BREAKING: ERCOT is now asking people to conserve electricity through Friday, saying there are a significant number of power plants offline and expecting possible record use for June.
At this rate, imagine what they'll be saying when it really heats up in August.
Could be that they are trying to catch up on plant maintenance due to not being able to do it last year? These plants have to be taken down for larger projects that cannot be done while the plant is running. They may have taken too many of them down at the same time and now have to ask customers to conserve in the meantime? enter text
Seems like those who have not made alternate preps, after the winter loss of power, have not learned anything. Potus said we should get prepped.
