Well, OK - people have been getting the injections since, what... January?
So it has been 16 weeks for some of them. Longer than 5-6 weeks for many tens of millions of people...
Where are the prion diseases then? Shouldn't they have shown up by now? All we have heard of is the blood clots and damage to people's circulatory systems (so far).
5 to 6 weeks for animals, likely small animals. This diss not translate to the same timeliness for humans. It could be years before we really start seeing issues beyond adverse reactions.
Monkeys live 20 or so years a quick google search showed so the average human is about 80 in north america so you would in theory take their number and multiply by 4 to get human timeline.

2 years is a decent time window to find a cure for this at least...
