I remember hearing very early on last year that children mustn't be wearing masks for some reason (respiratory issues??). That was quickly abandoned and now here we are. I wonder if that information is still floating around.

You are correct, they shouldn't because their lungs are still developing. Ive heard of some pediatricians recommending no masks until at least age 7.
