I never understood the point of national groups like Proud Boys. You can create your own group, and organize your own doings under a unique banner centered around your community. This is where the media can't do jack shit about if there's thousands of different local groups all under different leaderships. This is what was so great about the pro-Trump rallies. There wasn't much of a hierarchy, just Americans very upset with the status quo and building connections with other like minded people.

Alex Jones, for as long as I could remember, promoted individual groups, followings, news sources not associated with him. He basically said, create your own youtube channel, create your own tshirts, your own fanbase, your own radio shows. He knows in order to build the movement, there has to be diversity among its leaders in order to attract the most followers and spread the message best. I think all of this paid off because much of what he does or say now has been severely censored and limited, not through his fault, but under threats that even he cannot handle anymore.
