I was sitting back today thinking about Trump's primary run and couldn't believe how much the world has changed since then.
There was so much hope. Alternative media was booming. People like Alex Jones were still on air. Free speech was a thing. Far less censorship. It was so entertaining. A modern day renaissance. And the memes, the fucking MEMES people! And Jeb! How could we forget Jeb!
We only had about 5-10 years of pure internet utopia before the marxists ruined everything. 2016 was the peak. Now everyone has been de-platfomed and it feels like the soul of the internet has been stolen.
It's memories like these that keep me fighting...
If you consider facebook Twitter and Google to be the soul of the internet, then sure.
I consider the soul of the internet to be places like the win community, geocities, WordPress, other user created authentic spaces and pages. That was the beauty of the internet, as long as you had an iP to connect to you could go anywhere! It's still like that, it's just the way you find things has changed now....
