You read my mind dangit! Hoping the same, we are in a BRUTAL heat wave and its only going to get worse. For all we know 10,000 Chinamen are pointing heat-ray guns at our skys lol. Kidding not kidding!

Jeez, I hope that is resolved quick for you. Had a similar issue a few years back, turned out to be a crappy condenser, $200ish fix. I hope its a quick/easy resolution for you.

Trying hanging wrung out damp sheets on chairs in front of your floor fans - looks weird but does help -

That freezing the unit up means you have a leak and are low on Freon. Call them back and ask to do a leak check and refill the unit….

We haven't had an air conditioner is our house this whole summer. It was 103 degrees today. At least we have a pool.
