Just so you know, this was pioneered years ago by non-doctors. Everything you hear today about the microbiome and why antibiotics damage you, stems from this. The main guy to push this as a treatment wasn't a doctor and after helping his friend cure himself of severe bowel issues, he set up a stool bank to help other people.
Because it works, the medical establishment has regulated it. Among other things, it cures most cases of IBS and Crohn's. The first guy with a well-documented case did it in order to avoid a colonectomy and the ugly prospect of carrying a plastic bag for his poop for the rest of his life. Science backs it up, but only because it's real.
I had gut problems up the wazoo after using a particular antibiotic for a sinus infection. It handled the sinus infection but ruined my gut. Took one dose of Ivermectin and poof, no more gut problem. Just saying.
Isn't this a treatment for C-diff? Good lord I wouldn't want to be in that line of work, if you've ever worked in a hospital, you'll know C-diff for the rest of your life, the smell is so awful.
C-diff is one of the only things that me and my coworkers freak out about when we know a C-diff patient has just come through our department. We start bleaching anything that stands still for 2 seconds including each other. It will Jack your intestines up like nothing you’ve ever experienced and cause all kinds of problems!
Because if they can complicate the shit (har har) out of something to make more $, they will. While telling people probiotics and enemas are useless. And it doesn't matter what you eat!
