It is unreal that the public in New York is passive. What happened to post 911 patriotis in New York?

I've seen it in person. Live in FL. Talked to an upstate NY person recently. Told me she was fully vaxxed, but still wears the mask because they make her do it NY and she was scared to offend anyone even though she doesn't understand why.

I said we've never worn masks at my business. She just looked at me blankly, kept hers on, and changed the subject. Sad.
