Same thing we heard about the masks and how none of them would enforce that, and those were simple mandates, not federal laws. We have an old adage/flag here in Texas most of you may have heard of......................

Problem is I know some officers who most definitely would come knocking on your door even in my small town.

The cop in this video is right.

Any attempt at confiscation of our guns would be a) obviously unconstitutional, and b) literal suicide for anyone dumb enough to try to enforce it.

Any cop with even half a brain does not want to die for the unconstitutional policies of moronic leftist politicians. It is that simple.

I’ve got some friends and family that are police officers and investigators/detectives and all of them have said there is no way they would enforce a confiscation of anyone’s firearms. Plus they are some of the biggest gun guys I know, and understand why owning a gun and the 2nd amendment is so very important.

I have yet to see police take a stand against any orders they've been given. Why would they stop now?

Just look at what happened in New Jersey with the gym owner. It was the local police and local town workers who shut the gym down. Keep in mind, they have to support their families, there is health care and pension. In speaking to a few police officers, they have all said the same thing, if we are ordered by the AG of the state, we have to follow orders or will be charged ourselves. As far as gun control, I hear what this officer is saying, but I do believe he is in the minority. Also, if it gets to that point, the government will bring in the UN troops, IMO to enforce the collection.
