I live in MA and can confirm it happened to me (Samsung). Found it during my clean up of cache on apps. I uninstalled it, and it's still absent 2 hours later, but will keep checking. I have auto update software turned off, and I haven't had an update for maybe a couple months, so it wasn't that, it was something else. My phone has a Ma area code.
