Something to think about though...most of these stats are global in nature, and not just native to the USA.
There is not a place on earth where the black crime rate or black illegitimacy is low. As much as I agree that government freebies have damaged blacks and the black family structure, at some point we have to confront the reality that observable race-based behavioral differences do exist.
I agree, but it's more a question of anthropology than race. the trans-Atlantic slave trade essentially teleported groups of people who were at mostly subsistence level of development suddenly into a civilization 2000 years ahead in development.
that's not a transition many would manage successfully. how to close the gap means to figure out how to support actual progress versus a veneer of 'achievement'.
