It’s like watching kids put on a play. One forgets his lines, and the others keep going on with theirs despite it making no sense. Someone else won’t say their line until the kid who forgot says his, and WOOPS. Intermission time, everyone!
I remember watching Trump's speech that day and felt that he seemed different. I know he rambled some and seemed to be delaying. But I also sensed a bit of fear in him that day that I never did before. In retrospect I think he was worried some of the people he called to the rally would be hurt. So, yes, he knew what they were planning and he held the largest portion of the crowds back by delaying his arrival and speaking longer.
Yes all great points and I never thought of this before. Without the massive crowd, they could have incited a small group to go along with them (like the Whitmer kidnapping plot) and blamed it all on Trump supporters
