For real the Chinese people I know are some of the nicest people ever and I think it’s important to distinguish between the Chinese people and the CCP. Never underestimate what fear and scarcity can do to humans. China has a long history of being trampled by other nations and that plays into the CCP mindset. China is 90% Han descent and the CCP’s policy is basically become Chinese or die. Pray for the Uyghurs. That being said, my mom toured China with a performing arts group about 5 years ago and in half a dozen major cities when an AA performer took the stage there were gasps in the audience. So the CCP talking points, repeated by The NY Times etc, that the US has no moral high ground to condemn their human rights violations is pure hypocrisy. Commies identified race as the class struggle to exploit back in the 1930s, I think.
