Speaking of comms, I recently ran across articles about a French thief, Abdelatif Redjil, who claims to have held Diana's hand and heard her last words:
I started down this rabbit hole and discovered he stole some of Picasso's works from Picasso's granddaughter, whose name just happens to be Diana Widmaier-Picasso:
Now, what are the odds that both women were named, "Diana?"
What is odd, though, if you don't know the thief's name or the fact that he stole from Picasso's granddaughter, It's very hard to verify he was at the scene of Princess Diana's car crash. In fact, if you search for the person who heard her last words, the art thief doesn't pop up, but accounts of a fireman hearing her last words do:
That is incredible, I've never seen such an accumulation of comms. It's possible to draw white/black sides from this I think.
Odd you mention the lack of public profile- when I searched the doctor it was much the same- all articles were either simple Linked-in and medical stuff or DS articles of recent date.
A lot of obfuscation around this- I'm finding older articles a bit easier to find clearer indications in- the recent stuff looks to be DS smoke & mirrors.
I did have a few physical newspapers from the time- sold them 6 months ago. Ooops.
She certainly was active for someone close to death. There is more accounts than seem possible- like the re-enforcement of messaging we see in the 'news'. Lizzy's cover in the courts looked odd too- to intercept Burrell releasing any of the items in court- I think he was trying to 'do a Rudy' with the evidence if you catch my drift....
For me, 2 real options emerge.
Knew it might happen, insurance note, interviews, publicity, but it still happened and has been a yuuge cover up since.
Same as above until publicity then Houdini out of it. (only thing that draws me a little with this is the immediate reaction of close relations)

If this option occurred, my guess would be the family didn't know. The only way to keep a lid on something like this would be to have as few people in-the-know as possible -- especially when you're someone as well-known around the world as she was. I would assume Diana knew her life was in danger and the only way out would be to "disappear." She was friends with JFK Jr., so maybe he offered her the same way out that he took??
Some people have argued that Diana would never leave her sons. But, what if you knew you'd never survive if you stayed? She may have figured this would be a battle better fought another day. The other possibility is, the royals may have already corrupted her son(s). Look at all of the stuff we're hearing about Harry and Meghan, and Harry and William (makes you wonder about Kate getting on so well as a royal).
Here's another thought I just had.....Did Diana have any body doubles?? The Queen apparently has a few, and so does Charles...some think.
That seems worth considering- doubles could indeed be interesting. The other thing I haven't properly checked is the decoy car and motorcyclists around the vehicle. Seems there is at least a possibility to switch. Or the ambulance. So it may not need to have been a double- just a coordinated switch (hence the tunnel).
As for the lack of Royal response- how would you respond? Imagine you know she has everything 'in hand' (Burrell + others?) and with her connections in the media has already managed to get word of her 'death' out. How would you counter that without making another admission? If there is one thing they understand it is protection of the brand at all cost.
I think that Bashir could have been her help too. He gets a lot of stick in the press (which feel like warnings to keep quiet- I think he has it all too).
I'm totally unsure about Harry + Wills- looks like movie plot stuff to me but the same media stuff applies here too. Golden boy / Ostracised brother.
I can't verify it -- it may be complete BS, but who knows? Stick this in your back pocket for now.
"Essentially, she was murdered at the orders of Prince Philip, without the knowledge of Queen Elizabeth, because she was pregnant with Dodi Fayed’s child and was about to convert to Islam."
^This^ bit was rumored back when it first all happened, so this is nothing new, although I wasn't aware that the Queen was allegedly in the dark about it.
If nothing else, it shows that there is a current interest in Diana's death, for whatever reason, so perhaps more info will be forthcoming.

Then, we have a Mr. Dalby hearing her last words:

And, a doctor heard her last words. Unfortunately the article is behind a paywall, but here is the link:

For someone who was close to death, she was certainly able to make herself heard by a lot of people.

I found this site today that has some info on Diana's death:
