Most liberals don't care about facts, only the outcomes.

They really don't. Back when concealed carry was being considered in my state, I tried giving a couple coworkers simple facts they could easily look up on the FBI website. They kept saying "I don't believe it". I finally said, "Look, this isn't a religion. It's simply data you can look up on the FBI's website."
