Is there even the remotest possibility that John was somehow intricately linked to Q? I think he was arrested in around the same time Q stopped dropping. Is there any connection or possible link? We know this guy was cyber security but what else did he do? Sounds like he had a target on his back for a while so what was he upto that didn't make the news? Looks like a pretty colorful character. I'm going to find out a bit more about Mr Mc.

I would guess it 50/50 he could have been Q.

Which means white hats have him if he was.
