At this stage I’d weigh my desired major against these “marks of shame” and determine if my major is worth it. Computer Science or Nuclear Engineering - maybe yes. “LGBWTFBBQ++ underwater basket gender studies” - likely no.
If I had a college bound child I’d definitely double-check everything. At first it’s fine, just a temperature check and a regularly scheduled ($20 cost to you) “surveillance testing”, but eventually they’ll tire of “being on the wrong team” and give in to peer pressure and get poisoned to make it stop.
