Is it cursing God? Let the line that shall not be crossed be damned by God…this, the goddamned line… The original Hebrew of “thou shalt not take the lords name in vain,” better translates to thou shalt not carry the name of God into falsehood… Those that “prophecy” and say things things in Gods name that are in fact false, are the ones breaking the commandment.
