Variant another word for strain of something.....

The changes in covid each time it looks like the government is loosing control and wants to keep the fear going and people locked up and muzzled. ie: first the China covid,hen comes the changes in covid. The South African covid variant, then the UK covid variant, then the Indian covid variant, then the Delta covid variaint........each time supposedly worse than the last.........hoping to scare you into getting the vaccine...........to be continued...........
