When I read Trumps comments, re. Barr, yesterday my first thought was:

Barr: Mr President you have suffered enough slings and arrows for us, I can take a few for the cause. Pretend to throw me under the bus, I can take it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've read a lot of stuff about the deep connections of these guys - Trump, Sessions, Barr, Mueller, etc.
