For the past couple of weeks in my town, many of the stores here haven't had the chance to restock items, leaving many empty shelves. There are three regular stores I frequent where I have talked to the employees, and they confirmed that regular shipments aren't coming in, or they only have half the items that are usually delivered. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I remeber that there was talk of a planned food shortage in the U.S on GAW about two months or so ago, so it definitely piqued my curiosity after personally encountering some weird situations.

I was just complaining to my husband and father about this! We're paying top dollar for produce and its getting to the point that we have to use it the same day or its not useful the next day. We order our groceries so we're not picking it out ourselves. I thought maybe the shoppers were being lazy but now I'm starting to suspect that they don't have much to choose from. We've been receiving moldy bell peppers and rubbery cucumbers for two weeks now. They refund the cost but what the fuck are we supposed to eat? We have a garden growing but a lot of the vegetables aren't ready to be eaten yet.
lol eat those grains, goy! Malnutrition at its gayest.
