Don't feel bad, ive been working on an older Hispanic lifelong dem. for about a year. He won't give it up. I will talk to him about politics which he's not very knowledgeable on and he will seem like he's leaning conservative. He gets super upset about indoctrinating the kids with the LGB shit. The worst part about it is for the most part he has conservative views but bashes Trump. Then the next time I talk to him its like starting at the very beginning. Ground hog day
