A few weeks ago I stumbled across this subreddit devoted to discussing their experience with the vaccine, and it was your average reddit sub all "we're saving the world!" and "First shot Moderna, going swell!!!!!". But I noticed sprinkled in were post by concerned users who were experiencing some very unusual reactions. I was surprised those post had still been up.
So I decided to check back a few weeks later and the community has taken a drastic turn for the worse. Now majority of post are negative reactions to the vaccine, and some of them sound fucking horrific. And every one of them need to say that they are not anti-vax, which I thought was a given considering we are discussing their literal vaccine side effects, so there's that.
There are a lot of people going through some really weird shit and you can read all of their story's on r/CovidVaccinated Its a decent seeming community full concerned people wanting to help each other, and just the entire thing is so sad to me. How did we let this happen? We just started injecting millions of people with shit that is going to fuck them up beyond repair??
And why was it such a push for front line workers. Nurses ,docs ,police ,firemen , paramedics etc.
If they all die ..who will take care of......us.....the kid with a broken leg. The old timer how has a stroke , the little old lady who falls on her house and breaks her hip ? I've said this before on this site. My gf is a Emergency room nurse ,senior nurse been in the ER dept 15 years.. when our state ( Massachusetts) had them(vaccines ) for front line workers only she was one of the very first to get it she had her reasons, being a nurse not wanting to get a patient sick etc .and hoping to end all this shit .. Anyway. She's been ..well a little off. Tired all the time , forgetting stuff, gets a sore throat often gets a cough , her hormones are weird and her period had been well very odd according to her. She always plays it off as being over tired , we are very active and I know her job is tough and works crazy hours and shifts. But she will have several days off and barely get anything she wanted done. Is tired alot...... Makes me nervous. I really don't want to lose her and when I talk about it she gets snippy ..so I just pray and hope it all passes and she's really just overtired. ... . I am not vaxxed. I will not be vaxxed but I identify as vaccinated. ( I was for measles etc )
About 10k veterans are medically trained. Many won't Vax. Maybe they'll save us all. Lol
I hope she gets better. How long ago was her second dose?
Well she was one of the first. So I think mid April ish
The "front line workers" will mostly not be needed once the med-beds come into play.
