Just got word the US Army making covid vax mandatory in a few months (don't want to mention the date). Refusal to take it will result in dishonorable discharge, which can destroy any future career, etc. Any ideas, especially from those in the military? Asking for a friend.

Dishonorable discharge is considered a felony, impacting employment, getting loans, 2a rights, etc.
My wife is an E7 in the ANG for the Med Det statewide here in our state, and there has been no mention of a mandate. What she was told is that once it is FDA approved there would be a mandate.
Agreed -- brought that up and was told FDA will be approving, leaving no grounds to object (that will be accepted by military, in any case).
We shall see.
Oh my god.

My wife told me about the date yesterday. So screwed up!
