Yes you get shingles when you are older because the virus remains inactive in you spine but get this, being around children who get chickenpox as an older person actually boost your immune system and reduces shingles when older.

The vax breaks the natural immunological order and then we have young people getting shingles which is unusual and was a thing before this pandemic so the new genetic vaccine is probably making this situation even worse.
