Let's take my pick up truck for example. The gas tank is about 4 feet long and 1 foot wide. It runs lengthwise of the truck and only on the driver's side. If it were to explode, it would have no issues lifting the drivers side and rolling the vehicle onto the passenger side doors.
If a couple men could flip a car by lifting on only one side of it... you don't think that 15 gallons of gasoline in an enclosed container on one side could have the same effect?
No. A gas tank in a car will not flip it. Do you know the lengths Hollywood has to go to get a car to flip on camera?!!!!!
