No fireworks displays, private fireworks not allowed by municipal order, and they even say it has nothing to do with fireworks.
Smells like Communism to me.

People would have you believe it's in solidarity with the First Nations people to refrain from celebrating Canada Day today, but the official sources have even made a point to say it's not about that either.
When will Canadians ever stop calling them 'First Nations'? First Nations my ass. There were plenty of civilizations in modern-day Canada prior to the Later Dryas that were genetically distinct from today's "Native Americans".
The so-called First Nations are just one in a long chain of civilizations to inhabit that land. They need to get over feeling that they are special or entitled to something.
See, you and I know that, but we're thinkers. They're feelers, and they feel what they're told.
I believe the preferred nomenclature is ‘Bering Strait migrants’
Yeah, I was at a loss about what to type there. 'First Nations' is an obvious cabal linguistic trick to promote a false historical narrative.
'Native' and 'indigenous' falsely imply that those groups have been there forever with no other civilizations on Canadian soil before them (also demonstrably false).
I do think that some degree of migration across the Bering Strait occurred, as did some migration from South/Central America up into modern-day Canada. Also some trans-Atlantic migration of people too. And I wouldn't rule out off-planet additions to the gene pool there either prior to Columbus.
