Heavenly Father we love you so much. You are our almighty and powerful God above, our light within, and all the beauty below. You love is endless and eternal and the most powerful force that ever was. We are sorry for our sins. We are powerless over them but thru your son Jesus Christ we gain the ultimate weapon against all evil. Teach us to stand tall in adversity and to preach your truth and love to all we come across. Give us the stregth to not lean on our own will, rather to lean on your promise to us for eternal life in heaven amen

Is John 3:16 Christian?
https://doctrine.org/is-john-316-christian
May I ask what you mean by Christian?
Baptised into the body of Christ thought the gospel of grace. Not water baptism, spiritual baptism that happens once you trust alone that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day.
So John 3 16 is probably the most Christian verse based off your words. I'm curious about ur thoughts. Do u feel it isnt
I read the document. I do not understand the idea that it is “not Christian” if it does not itself contain all the methodology needed to obtain salvation.
What single sentence could be Christian, by this thinking?
I see John 3:16 as John’s witness of what unlocked salvation for us. I don’t read it as the totality of what is needed to achieve it. Just a crucial element that will become true to any believer in Christ’s offer of salvation.
In order for me to explain myself I need to know your understand of our plan of salvation today, what do we need to believe in order to be saved?
Please don't taking this the wrong way, I'm not asking this question to challenge you and your belief, it just will help me explain what I mean.
The fastest answer would be to say that salvation is a mental / spiritual posture toward God as the most high and source of all things. Our state of mind about our identity under and thru Him.
it’s not a thing i claim to summarize. my only grievance is the idea of thinking an important statement is “not Christian” for its failure to summarize the “how” of everlasting life. John 3:16 is a “why.”
I do agree some Christians believe or seeing the sentence is all it takes. lip-service never works, we see that described clearly in James.
You don’t read the Bible, do you?
