It says in the caption at the top: “The situation began to unfold in the early hours on Saturday morning, when a state trooper stopped to assist a group of motorists refueling two vehicles on the side of the highway. (Massachusetts State Police)”

What if they did not "run out" of gas? What if they were doing a roadside refueling to avoid being seen at a gas station, because they were in route to attack something?
