I don't speak about my political beliefs anymore to the brainwashed I know. I tried that during the Obama era and you can't wake people are brainwashed. In fact, there are interviews with people who are trained in deprograming people and they don't recommend anyone attempt it without training. Back in the 70s families had to literally kidnap relatives from cults and take them to a deprogrammer. The family was taking a huge risk since if they failed to deprogram they would be sued for kidnapping. That was how extreme it can be to de-brainwash people. They won't accept that they are living in lies and obviously you're not going to be very accepting of the people holding you prisoner. Who's to say they're not trying to brainwash you?
I remember in the Bush era things weren't so bad (at least not surface-wise). You could be conservative and admit it around leftist. They didn't like it, but there were no safe spaces. They would hear you out. Everything changed in the Obama era.
It was like people I thought were sane became drooling vegetables in worship of the Great O. They would not hear a single bad word about Obama. Nothing could crack their worship of him. I met another friend who was not yet swallowed in the cult and we both said, "I feel like I'm surrounded by a cult that appeared overnight." She was like, "Yeah, it's surreal."
It came so fast and hard that I was not even sure the world was real. It felt like those not under the thrall of the O were few and far between. I lost so many people because I tried to wake. I talked about Benghazi and Eric Holder. I showed articles. I tried everything. They shook their heads and said, "You sound crazy. I'm sure Obama had good intentions. He's the best president ever."
It was like talking to a wall. Nothing would reach them. No piece of evidence. They were all asleep and I felt so alone. Luckily my family are diehard conservatives saw through the O, but I was excommunicated from a lot of social circles. Nowadays I keep my beliefs close to my chest and share only with those who are awakened. I hope and pray for a Great Awakening.
It's already 10,000 times better than the Obama era. I see so many so close to waking up. I never thought that possibly. I see them softening a lot. The wall is cracking
Just honestly curious...if we had been friends during the GWB years, would I have been able to tell you that 9/11 was a false flag? I ask because I was a left leaning fella in those times who was initially awakened by 9/11 and none of my conservative friends/family would listen either.
I saw people who had “9/11 was an inside job” bumper stickers. As a Conservative, I thought they were wack jobs. I didn’t trust government, but I would never dream that the Bush’s would ever be a part of that. I knew the Clintons were horrifically corrupt, but I thought at the time that “our guy” was maybe kinda goofy, but not evil. Since I started down the rabbit holes with Q, a LOT has changed.
Beautiful.

It gives me hope.
