Even if they perceive some bias in the media, that is a whole different level to think that the vaccine is actually way too dangerous but the story is being covered up.
They don't believe that all their favorite news sources would let thousands die because they have an agenda that has nothing to do with informing us of the truth.
So when you show them the Biden Blackmail video, they assume that smart journalists have already figured out that it was taken out of context and that it had nothing to do with Hunter and Burisma. Otherwise it would have been a thing.
And when you show them articles about the Nobel Prize winner being against the mRNA experimental vaccine rollout, they assume that the scientist must be some kind of loon, or maybe in his aging years he is struggling to get is name back in the limelight, etc. Because otherwise, the media would have been all over it, asking other experts about it, getting to the truth.
