That's not a good thing. India is ending freedom of speech for its citizens and is strong-arming Big Tech into acting as a private Stazi. The EU is currently doing exacly the same with the law being voted today or tomorrow (all our private messages must be analysed by an AI and, if applicable, snitched to the police).
Seems to me that making Twitter liability for content could lead to more censorship, which is another issue entirely isn't it.
Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act was intended to make platform owner not responsible or liability for content, but has instead given them a free reign to censor, making them untouchable.
