Idk if I'd call myself lucky for losing many of my closest friends. "Lucky" will to be the people who did nothing while patriots save the world via speaking truth to power, reasoned dialogue, and other means.
maybe your friendships were not as substantial as you thought they were
maybe it was just a pack threaded together with confirmation bias
Maybe. Or maybe I go out of my way reading and consuming politics while they do not. Perhaps my brainwashing (not that I’m trying to do that) is not as effective as MSM.
It’s not just you buddy. They are balls deep in the matrix from birth. The psychology of sales tells us that nobody wants to be sold anything but people love to buy. Same with knowledge, your friends don’t want to be sold on anything. How you more affectively get through to them is lead them and plant seeds for them. Come back often to lightly water these seeds and soon they sprout into a beautiful flower. You can just briefly mention something you learned and point them to where they can research it themselves without giving them information overload (not saying you do). When people find things “on their own” it’s way more affective and has a much higher chance of sticking. Good luck brother. Some have come around in my sphere and some may never but I know I personally have a better chance of getting somewhere if I gradually steer as opposed to teach.
