Well, the problem is, equity is racist and sexist and everything elsist. Because you can't make people have equitable outcome unless you pull some down while pushing some up. I don't think anyone I know (and I've always only lived in highly majority white areas) actually cares about working with other races (like, cares about it in a negative way). I've met a few actual racists in my life, they're usually the stupidest people in the room with the least to offer who are just trying to yell about anything they can grasp at because they want to throw focus away from their own deficits. I understand that and I'm just a small town chick still living in a different small town one county away.
There is racism inherent in everything these people say because pushing equity has to be divisive. They can't encourage the tearing down of those doing better in life by those doing worse if they don't first divide and create victims of some and villains of others.
