I have found "Honesty about dependence" to be a better English phrase to describe that word in Greek. "Pistis" or "faith" is about emotionally, mentally, and spiritually being pressed by the law into honesty about dependence on Jesus Christ. "Faith" in English does not mean the same thing to most people. Its why people don't baptize babies "because they can't even choose" Yup that's because "faith" isn't about you choosing. A baby is ultimately dependent and one reason why Christ says we must become like one and be born again.
Facts, thank you brother!
