It’s my understanding that Covid tests are total shit and the Covid virus has never been isolated. Has anyone explained how a Covid test can tell which “variant” someone has? I think it’s all bullshit but they aren’t even trying to make sense anymore.

I just got home from visiting family. My nephew went to a class and got exposed to covid and then like 20 of us got it from him. My sister ended up in the hospital and the dr told her she had this new delta variant which I was like bs how do you know. He blamed it on all us unvaccinated people meanwhile my mom and her husband got the jab a couple months ago and they still got covid. What's wild to me is we were all infected by the same person but 3/20 are throwing up and can't keep anything down. My sister is on day 18 and still throwing up. I woke up with a fever yesterday but have no other symptoms, some of us are coughing and congested. Everyone has completely different symptoms but are still considered covid. Its so dumb
