So, during the 2016 election I know someone who voted at their precinct and was given an already filled out ballet – for the Ds. We've both wished MANY times we had better documented it then, but we didn't know any better. Anyway, this got me thinking today even more...
- This was in a solid red state (Alabama).
- Was in a solid red county.
- We've always heard about "people being bussed in" for elections around here. Mainly the small town/city elections. Call it conspiracy theory, but people have seen it.
Anyway, I wonder how many of these "blue" areas are really that blue? I wonder how many mayors actually won their races? The D run areas are some of the absolute worst in the state. Why would people continually vote for a failure?
I'm ready for our state to have an audit. Not just for presidency (tho that, too), but for the entire down ballot people and constitutional amendments. And not just for the blue parts, either.
Finally, the next election that rolls around we better be out working the polling locations and ensuring there's no funny business. Probably what's convicted me most is the lack of involvement I, and people I know, have in working at these places. For my state, here's the requirements: https://www.sos.alabama.gov/alabama-votes/become-poll-worker
Oh yeah there is some seriously fishy shit in alabama.
1: No way in hell Roy Moore lost. The fraud in Jefferson County that election was massive and ironically was shut down by the courts when he tried to sue.....wonder why? Dem cesspool city.
2: I suspect the shit that happened with Governor Bentley was sketchy (not saying he was great) but they pulled the sex scandal shit on him too....they don't exactly have depth in their playbook.
I have a feeling all the corruption with strange, Bentley either was them installing Kay Ivey or they are all in some giant corruption thing from the state to local level.
I know a judge in North Alabama who lost her race but she proved that the other party didn't even file proper paperwork to run and she ended up winning. I have a feeling there is more to that story. She also believes in fraud and im sure she has tons of alabama corruption stories because she used to be a family lawyer that worked with child custody type cases before she was a judge.
BTW I lived in Jeff city for a couple years in college. Back then they were over 1 billion in debt JUST TO THE SEWER COMPANY. How the hell does that happen? Money laundering im sure...
Alabama was one of the most corrupt states out there, and may still be. I thought a lot of it got cleaned up (or maybe just covered up...) back in the mid 2000s.
