If they are real they are made out of human skin or so it is claimed, many red shoe club members wear a pointed laced loafer and these do seem to be pointed yet they lack shoe laces. Closest to this shoe are ones that are worn by Pope's Pious and Benedict sport(ed) a slip on loafer.
