Dear OP, please forgive me for overthinking this - but I've really enjoyed going off on the trails on which you got me started. I hope you find this entertaining or at least, funny/goofy.
Because it's when the birds start singing in my neck of the woods, always when I read the question: "When does a bird sing?" I've thought that Q was asking us to think of: "dark to light" - just as the darkness becomes twilight. Stupid simple and typical for my lame brain. Yes, I agree that the answer is probably more along the "caught" or "caged" reference, but bear with me.
So, with your spelling of "BYRD" in your post-title, you've just now triggered a WHOLE 'NUTHER line of thinking. See? I've NEVER before considered that Q might ever reference the musical group from the '60's known as "The Byrds" (Roger McQuinn & friends).
So, my answer/query to YOUR post-title question is: at forty-thousand feet? ("Eight Miles High"). What vehicles operate at 40,000 feet?
Military? Spec Ops? Reconn? Chem-trailers? Why would they be operating at that height? Why not higher or lower?
Do they "squawk" (sing out) their identities at that altitude? Who would know?
Or, could Q be referencing McQuinn himself - or one of the band members? Yes, I know that Jeff Baxter (Doobie Brothers) was peripherally involved with the military but I don't think he was ever a member of The Byrds.
See? I will be playing with this toy for days - and you helped me to get started. LOL! Anyway, GBY & your loved ones! THANQ YOU for being here! Thanks especially for your Post! Working together, we MAGA!
Off topic but I just realized how peculiar it is that the Twatt has a birb for an icon, especially when all they do is mock the mean orange man.
What's a birb?
Bird. I just prefer the way birb sounds cuz they're straight up derps.
Any chance the bird who sings is Ghislane?
I too was wondering if it is her or Brit Spears and other singers who have been in a "cage" of control

What is the last name of the Capitol cop that shot Ashley Babbitt?
