In case anyone didnt know or forgot, one of the few D's that (allegedly) was elected in florida was Nikki Fried. She is commissioner of Florida's Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Coincidentally (or not), this is the agency that controls guns -it's where you go to apply for a concealed carry permit in the state.
