I just like my anonymity. It’s a shame you guys hate masks so much, because I fucking love the public anonymity. I don’t have to smile at people, I don’t have to worry about being recognized by old coworkers or anything. I wear it in the car.
I was vaccinated months ago. It’s not about COVID anymore. I’m going to wear a mask until banks start kicking me out for doing it. My face is my business.
How interesting. I just had someone tell me that since she was not really looking at people’s faces anyway, she actually felt like everyone else’s ability to read social cues was now more like hers.
Of course, I know a lot of autism programs are specifically teaching face cues, so it’s kind of presented a weird situation.
They want to make sure people know I’m not on the same train as them. I don’t mind it.
