I work for a fed agency (please don’t judge me, I’m a patriot through and through) and while I haven’t been told “ I must have the vax” to work, they will judge me if I don’t want to go. If I go, I may catch it and have to quarantine for 2 weeks in a shit hole country which is Mexico. No support, can’t come home on a flight, languishing in a hotel room or a shitty hospital. If I say I don’t want to go, they say, “well, your job requires you to travel, so you should get the the vax, otherwise we don’t need you”. Then if I die, because of complications of the vax, my wife has nothing to defend herself. Can’t sue, can’t blame. Am I overreacting, should I worry, is it no big deal? I’m healthy, not overweight, not diabetic and actually think I got the “vid” Nov. 2019 and had no issues since. Just looking for some positive confirmation or realistic analysis.

i have no analysis for ya but like most of us, if you don't want it, trust your gut!! bc your guts might be fucked if you get it. NOT worth it. even losing a job isn't worth your life, even if it makes life hard as hell for a while. Work bullying and pressure is no reason to make a medical decision for yourself. We know it is iffy. Don't vax. Take your trip. live. My dad has had a pacemaker and COPD for years, got the vax and now is having surgery tomorrow for a collapsed lung. the other lung will also collapse needing the same surgery. yes, his many many years of smoking caused everything but why did his lung last over 70 years without collapsing before the vax. with no solid proof of a damned thing, why risk your life. even simply going to mexico is safer than that, scarily enough.
