I think people have been socially conditioned for complacency. If you bring up any conspiracy they use slippery slope logical fallacies. If you believe A then you must believe B, C, D, and E. Example: "Oh! You believe in pizzagate? So you must also think the earth is flat and the government is run by shape-shifting reptilian people!" Shit's annoying.
